BSO performs 2nd & 3rd Movements Beethoven's Piano Concerto No 4

Beaufort Symphony Orchestra News   /   Feb 12th, 2021   /   0 COMMENTS   /  A+ | a-

Dear Music Lovers and Supporters,

This week’s music offering is the 2nd Movement Andante con moto and 3rd Movement Rondo (Vivace) from Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4. The recording is from a concert by the BSO in October 2017 and is on YouTube: BSO plays Beethoven Piano Concerto No 4, 2nd & 3rd Movements. The pianist is Reed Tetzloff.

About the music, Maestro Fred Devyatkin writes, “The slow movement of Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto is achingly beautiful, leading seamlessly into the joyous, frolic of the 3rd movement Rondo. Played masterfully by guest soloist Reed Tetzloff, with the BSO on point!”

We appreciate all who can donate to the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra.

Sincerely,

BSO Board and Musicians
