Dear Music Lovers and Supporters, The first concert on October 9, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. is “Immortal Beloved: The Romantic Beethoven” at the Beaufort High School Performing Arts Center, 84 Sea Island Parkway, Beaufort, SC 29907. We are excited to have 16-year-old violin soloist Lilyanne Thoroughman, who is sponsored by the Prodigy Project. Miss Thoroughman and the BSO will be performing the Beethoven Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61. Afterward, the BSO will perform the Beethoven Symphony No. 3 "Eroica" in E♭ major, Op. 55. Dear Music Lovers and Supporters, On Sunday, February 13, 2022, at 4:00 pm, the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra will perform its 2022 February concert “Give My Regards to Broadway” at the Sea Island Presbyterian Church, 81 Lady’s Island Drive, Lady’s Island, SC 29907. The program will include tunes from Broadway shows such as “The Sound of Music,” “My Fair Lady,” “Les Misérables,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “West Side Story” and “Wicked.” In preparation for our February concert, we offer the music from the musical West Side Story.
