Our eighth offering is the Symphony No. 1 in E minor (1931-1932) by the African-American composer Florence Beatrice (née Smith) Price. Dear Music Lovers and Supporters, In memory of Arthur “Art” Tollefson, who died on Friday, July 24, 2020, our seventh offerings are recordings of the Mendelssohn Piano Concerto in G Minor from a concert by the BSO in 2012 and the Beethoven Sonata in C Minor for Piano & Violin: Scherzo & Finale from 2014.
