Beaufort Symphony Orchestra News   /   Jul 8th, 2020   /   0 COMMENTS   /  A+ | a-

Dear Music Lovers and Supporters,

Our fourth offering is a recording of the First Movement of the Niccolo Paganini’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in D Major from a concert by the BSO in February 2016 at the Sea Island Presbyterian Church. The soloist is Hungarian-born violinist Tamás Kocsis.  The recording is on YouTube BSO playing Paganini Violin Concerto No. 1 in D Major: 1st Movement.

See Maestro Fred Devyatkin’s Commentary on YouTube.

Violinist Tamás Kocsis was born in Budapest, Hungary, and began playing the violin at the age of 5. Tamás is the Leader of the Ulster Orchestra, which is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra. We are grateful for your consideration and generosity.

Sincerely,

Entire BSO Board & Musicians
