Dear Music Lovers and Supporters,
We wanted to share some exciting news regarding our fundraising efforts to raise $40,000. Thanks to your generous donations, we are on the cusp of reaching our goal. As of now, we have raised $18,400. We have two matching donors who will give a total of $10,000 once we reach $20,000 and thus our total will be $30,000! So, we only need $1,600 to reach that target. For the remaining $10,000 we need, if 50 of our patrons could donate $200 each, we could close the gap and reach our shortfall for this fiscal year, which is a total of $40,000. We do want to thank our donors who offered to match up to $10,000 of the first $20,000 collected.
As we near our fundraising goal, I am reaching out to appeal to you to consider making a donation today. Your contributions will serve as the lifeline that sustains the music we cherish and upholds the musical vibrancy of our community. Every dollar counts and has a direct impact on our ability to bring live Symphonic music into our community for another year.
In closing, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and dedication to the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra. Your generosity is the cornerstone of our existence, and we truly appreciate the impact you have made. I am thrilled to share that we have welcomed two new volunteers who are eager to assist in developing a comprehensive donation marketing plan for the upcoming fiscal year, which begins June 1, 2024. With your continued support and their expertise, we are excited about the possibilities and the future of our organization. Thank you once again for your invaluable contribution and belief in our mission.
Now, let’s get ready for our final “European Excursion” concert of the season on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 5:00 pm at the USCB Center for the Arts. It is time to start listening on Spotify to performances of the Elgar Concerto for Cello in E Minor, Op. 85 and Dvořák Symphony No. 8 in G major, Op. 88.
