Dear Music Lovers and Supporters,
The first concert of the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra’s 2022-2023 Season was on October 9, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at the Beaufort High School Performing Arts Center, 84 Sea Island Parkway, Beaufort, SC 29907. We have received many compliments on the young soloist and the entire concert.
The next concert will be on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at the Beaufort High School Performing Arts Center. We are excited to have piano soloist and Steinway Artist Susan Merdinger perform again with the Orchestra. She will perform the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor, Op. 23. Afterward, the BSO will perform the Mendelssohn Symphony No. 3 "Scottish" in A minor, Op. 56.
Please consider supporting the BSO’s 2022-2023 Season by donating to the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra. For example, in preparation for the January concert,
- $2,500 will help us rent a Steinway piano for our Steinway artist performance in January
- $1,000 will help us showcase our soloist in smaller community events during her stay in January
- $500 will help us to host our soloist’s stay in Beaufort
If you are looking for a fun musical evening in November, come out to hear the Beaufort Symphony Youth Orchestra perform for FREE. These concerts last about 45 minutes and are open to the public.
