This week’s music offering is The Little Mermaid performed by the BSO String Orchestra at its second livestream concert on May 16, 2021, that was broadcast from the Carolina Ballroom at the Dataw Island Club. The recording is on YouTube: BSO Strings perform The Little Mermaid. The words are by Howard Ashman, the music by Alan Menken and the arrangement by Larry Moore. The medley includes the songs “Under The Sea,” “Kiss The Girl” and “Part Of Your World.”
