Dear Music Lovers and Supporters,

We wanted to share more good news regarding our fundraising efforts to cover our 2023-2024 revenue shortfall of $40,000. This past week we reached our goal of $20,000 to trigger donations of $5,000 each, from two donors, who each agreed to match $1 for every $2 donated up to $10,000.  Once those matching donations are received, we will have raised $30,000.  We are in the homestretch!

For the remaining $10,000, if 100 of our patrons donated $100 each or if 50 patrons donated $200 each, we could close the gap and reach our goal of $40,000 by the end of May.  I am reaching out to appeal to you to consider making a donation today and close this GAP.  We cannot do this without everyone’s support.

We are working diligently on the programming for next season.  We should have dates and programming to announce at the June concert.  Get your tickets now at TIX!!!

The final 2023-2024  BSO concert will be an “European Excursion” on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 5:00 pm at the USCB Center for the Arts. The European Excursion is from the West in England, homeland of composer Edward Elgar, to the East in Czechoslovakia, the nation of Antonín Dvořák. To prepare for the concert, listen on Spotify to performances of the Elgar Concerto for Cello in E Minor, Op. 85 and Dvořák Symphony No. 8 in G major, Op. 88.
