Cellist Irena Josifoska and the BSO perform the 2nd Movement of the Dvořák Cello Concerto

Beaufort Symphony Orchestra News   /   Mar 5th, 2021   /   0 COMMENTS   /  A+ | a-

Dear Music Lovers and Supporters,

This week’s music offering is the 2nd Movement, Adagio, ma non troppo, of the Cello Concerto by Antonín Dvořák. The recording is from a concert by the BSO in May 2017 and is on YouTube: BSO plays Dvořák Cello Concerto, 2nd Movement. The cello soloist is Irena Josifoska.

About the music, Maestro Fred Devyatkin writes, “The heartwarming 2nd movement of the Dvořák Cello Concerto is a melodic masterwork! Entertaining and substantive, great fun for performers and listeners alike.”

We appreciate all who can donate to the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra.

Sincerely,

BSO Board and Musicians
