Dear Music Lovers and Supporters,

This week’s music offering is the Bohemian Rhapsody from the BSO’s first livestream concert on March 14, 2021, that was broadcast from the Carolina Ballroom at the Dataw Island Club.  The recording is on YouTube: BSO Strings perform Bohemian Rhapsody. The words and music are by Freddie Mercury and the arrangement is by Robert Longfield.



About the music, Maestro Fred Devyatkin writes, “Freddie Mercury, the stellar lead singer of Queen and their distinguished songwriter, made a permanent mark on the music industry and rock music in particular. In this wonderful string arrangement by Longfield and performance by the BSO Strings, Mercury’s genius emerges.”
