Dear Music Lovers and Supporters,

As a reminder, the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra will not perform a Holiday concert this December.

The next concert of the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra will be “Romantic Celebration” on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at the Beaufort High School Performing Arts Center. We are excited to have piano soloist and Steinway Artist Susan Merdinger perform again with the Orchestra. Ms. Merdinger will perform the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor, Op. 23. Afterward, the BSO will perform the Mendelssohn Symphony No. 3 "Scottish" in A minor, Op. 56.

The first concert of the 2022-2023 Season is history now. We have received many compliments on Lilyanne Thoroughman’s performance and positive reviews about the entire concert. You may listen to the full concert again on YouTube at Immortal Beloved: Romantic Beethoven.

Please consider supporting the BSO’s 2022-2023 Season by donating to the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra. For example, in preparation for the January concert,

• $2,500 will help us rent a Steinway piano for our Steinway artist performance in January
• $1,000 will help us showcase our soloist in smaller community events during her stay in January
• $500 will help us to host our soloist’s stay in Beaufort
