Dear Music Lovers and Supporters,
The Beaufort Symphony Orchestra will perform its “Americana” concert next Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 4:00 pm at the USCB Center for the Arts. The concert will feature the Symphony No. 9, "From the New World" in E minor, Op. 95, by Antonín Dvořák. Other music will include “An American in Paris” by George Gershwin, “‘Pops’ Hoe Down” by Richard Hayman and “An American Salute” by Morton Gould. A preview of the music is on Spotify at Americana.

Dear Music Lovers and Supporters, This week’s musical offering is More. The music was composed by Riz Ortolani and Nino Oliviero for the 1962 Italian film Mondo Cane. The recording is from a concert by the BSO in March 2017 and is on YouTube: BSO plays More. This arrangement by Richard Hayman was for Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Orchestra.
