Dear Music Lovers and Supporters, We are looking for a volunteer to host our cello soloist, Mr. Ewan Manalo, and his parents and sister. Ewan will perform at the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra’s “European Excursion” concert on Sunday, June 2, 2024. He will arrive on Thursday, May 30, and depart on Monday, June 3. We can accommodate Ewan and his sister in a room with twin beds and his parents would be comfortable in a room with a full, queen, or king-sized bed. The family will have their own transportation. Dear Music Lovers and Supporters, We wanted to share more good news regarding our fundraising efforts to cover our 2023-2024 revenue shortfall of $40,000. This past week we reached our goal of $20,000 to trigger donations of $5,000 each, from two donors, who each agreed to match $1 for every $2 donated up to $10,000. Once those matching donations are received, we will have raised $30,000. We are in the homestretch! For the remaining $10,000, if 100 of our patrons donated $100 each or if 50 patrons donated $200 each, we could close the gap and reach our goal of...
